Privacy Notice

Short version: we only collect what we need to confirm your draw entry and pay you if you win. We don't sell your data, run ads, or share it with anyone else. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who's the controller?

Chanel SSC (the club) is the controller of personal data collected through the draw. 47for operates the website and acts as a data processor on the club's behalf.

What we collect

• Your name — to record who holds each number.
• Your WhatsApp number or email — only to confirm your entry and contact you if you win.
• Your payment reference — Revolut transaction reference or note that payment was cash, for our records.

We do not collect: your card details (Revolut handles those itself), your address, your date of birth (you self-confirm 18+), or any tracking cookies beyond what the website host (Vercel) uses for basic analytics and security.

How we use it

• To confirm your entry and lock your number in.
• To contact you if you win.
• To publish results — only your first name and ticket number, no contact details.
• To keep a basic record of fundraising income for the club's accounts.

How long we keep it

• Entry records: 12 months after the draw, then deleted.
• Financial records: 6 years (Irish revenue requirement for the club).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, message the operator on WhatsApp or email hello@47for.com and we'll act within 30 days. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

This site sets one functional session cookie if you log into the admin area. Vercel (our host) sets a small number of essential cookies for analytics and security. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
